Common questions
How does the free tier work?

Enter your email and we'll add you to the daily digest for one monitored region (UK–US, UK–Asia, UK–EU, or US–LATAM). No card, no expiry.

How do Slack alerts work?

Pro subscribers receive a Slack notification the moment a consensus event crosses our threshold. You'll get the corridor, severity, affected cable systems, and an estimated repair window.

What does "all regions" mean?

Pro monitors all four corridors simultaneously: London–New York, London–Singapore, London–Tokyo, and New York–São Paulo. Free monitors one.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Stripe manages billing — you can cancel via the customer portal at any time. Your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period.

Why this exists

After 11 years as a telecoms infrastructure engineer, I saw first-hand how long it takes subsea cable events to surface publicly — and how much time MSPs waste troubleshooting client slowdowns that turn out to be a cable degradation on the other side of the world. CableStatus exists to close that gap.
